Thiago Oliveira is an independent film producer and Senior Vice President Management and Creative affairs[1][2] of MoJo Global Arts,[3][4] a management, and production, and financing company founded the by Morris Ruskin, CEO of Shoreline Entertainment, and filmmaker Jordan Walker-Pearlman.

Early Life[edit]

Thiago Torres de Oliveira was born in Volta Redonda on March 23rd, 1984. At the age of 5 he was brought to the United States as an illegal immigrant and grew up in mainly in Boston but moved around New England, moving 19 times by the age of 18. After 22 years of living in New England, at the age of 27, Oliveira relocated to the American South to Richmond, VA. He couldn't find work there because he was an illegal immigrant so he became an entrepreneur; opening a cell phone store with his small savings. After several years Oliveira had financially successful, owning several small businesses, but didn't feel challenged enough in his career and still world's away from pursuing his dream of working in film. In 2015, Oliveira discovered that Congress had passed DACA, which allowed him to fulfill his dream of being a first-generation College student. With DACA he was able to get a driver's license and enroll at Harvard.[5] In 2019 he graduated top 10% of his class, earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Film/TV[6]

Career[edit]

In the Spring of 2019 upon graduating from Harvard, Oliveira relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in filmmaking. Oliveira has worked on over 34 media projects[7] including: HBO, NBC, Amazon, music videos, commercials, and AAA video game titles. Previously, Oliveira was the CEO of a retail and real estate investment company.
