Rathnayake Mudiyanselage Thilanka Madushan Rathnayake (born 4 November 1995: Sinhala: තිලංක රත්නායක), popularly as Thilanka Rathnayake, is a Sri Lankan musician and social media strategist.[1] He is the founder and CEO of social media strategy company, Devotion Social Media Agency.[2]

Personal life[edit]

He was born on 4 November 1995 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He is a past pupil of Trinity College, Kandy and Royal College, Colombo.[3]

Thilanka Rathnayake completed his higher education in the hospitality sector and later moved to marketing and photography. He is currently working as the Founder and Managing Director of Devotion Social Media Agency where he works as a Social media Consultant and political analyst. In 2015, he started music career with Gayan Perera's 'Daddy' band. Then he joined with popular actress Yureni Noshika. In the meantime, he worked as the social media platform coordinator of the musician Lahiru Perera. Apart from them, Rathnayake also collaborated with the social media platform coordination of many Sri Lankan international cricketers,[1] as well as manage social media platforms for Dalada Maligawa,[4] politicians, hotels, celebrities, and businesses.[5]

In 2022, he launched a project #SriLankaCan, to promote tourism and support Sri Lanka during economic crisis.[6]
