Thiru Vikram (Thiru Vikram Suresh)[1] was the CEO of Buffalo Automation, a now defunct startup company[disputed ] that attempted to provide autonomous navigation technology for commercial ships and recreational boats.[2][3][4]
Early life and career
Vikram studied some computer science and electrical engineering coursework at the University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where he co-founded Buffalo Automation with fellow students Shane Nolan, Alexander Zhitelzeyf and Emilie Reynolds.[5][6][7] The company was founded to design and build an artificial intelligence system called AutoMate that enables ships and boats to self-navigate.[8][9] However, in 2016, Vikram failed to complete his degree at the University at Buffalo and dropped out.[10][11][12]
