ThorDrive was founded in Seoul, South Korea by Dr. Seung-Woo Seo, a professor at Seoul National University in 2016.
Technology[edit]
ThorDrive's technology has been carefully developed over the past 15 years by a number of respected experts that specialize in robotics and artificial intelligence. Their technology has been real-world tested in urban environments including Palo Alto, California, and Seoul, South Korea.[1]
Partners and customers[edit]
- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport - ThorDrive is currently testing autonomous ground crew vehicles at the airport. The airport hopes to use ThorDrive's technology to help make the airport more modern and more human-friendly environment.[1]
- Velodyne Lidar - On February 11, 2021, ThorDrive announced that they had signed a 5-year sales agreement with Silicon Valley-based Velodyne Lidar to provide ThorDrive with Ultra Puck sensors. ThorDrive will use the censors to help power the autonomous ground crew vehicles.[3]
