Thor 3D is a wireless 3D scanner manufacturing start-up started back in 2015, headquartered in Germany and has a development office in Moscow, Russia.[1][2] Thor3D is the winner of the prestigious iF Design Award, 2021.[3] Thor3D demonstrated its first 3D scanner called “Thor” at the Euromold exhibition in 2015. So far Thor3D has launched four scanners, including Thor in 2015 and Drake in 2016.[4][1]
Its other products are "Calibry", which was launched at TCT Shanghai show in 2019[5] and Calibry mini in 2020.[6]
Thor 3D was started in 2015 by former employees of the 3D scanning system producer Artec 3D.[7][2][8]Thor3D has offices in both Russia and Germany[5]
