Three Shades of Dirty was an emo band from Annapolis, Maryland, active in the early 1990s. The original members were Daniel Littleton, Sandy Whitesel and Colin Meeder. Littleton and Meeder had previously played in The Hated.[1] The band released a demo in 1990 on independent label Vermin Scum titled Paper Roses and was later featured on label Troubleman Unlimited's first compilation release Superpowers released in 1992.[2]
