Tilesweeper is a variant of the game Minesweeper, with improved stylized 3D graphics, physics and a new game mode - arcade.

Gameplay[edit]

The mechanics of the gameplay completely repeats the classic Minesweeper - there is a game field consisting of cells (the game uses the term "tiles", hence the name Tilesweeper) some of them are "mined", the number of "mined" cells is known. The goal of the game is to mark all cells containing mines.

One of the features of the game is that the game provides different themes for level design. Currently, the game has one theme - Castle where all levels are in the fantasy style. In this theme of design, the cells (Tiles) of the playing field are made in the style of outdoor stone slabs, which crumble into pieces and fall into the underground space, in case of their "opening". The levels themselves have several types of design: a dungeon, a cave, a castle, a lava cave.

Soon it is planned to release new themes as DLC. The theme, which is now in development - Sci-Fi.

In each theme there are two types of levels - classic and arcade:
Classic levels are the levels of the classic Minesweeper - 9x9, 16x16 and 16x30, but in the design of the chosen theme.
Arcade levels are levels of non-standard shapes and sizes. Each theme has at least 15 different levels of configuration.[4]

Reception[edit]

Tilesweeper has earned a gamerscore of 8.26 on whatoplay based on 140 user reviews.[5]
