Founded in 2018 by Sunil Pandey and Taushif Patel,[1] it is operated under the Times Applaud Pvt Ltd, registered under the Companies Act 2013. Times Applaud is organizige various award events, including the Women Iconza Awards, to celebrate women's achievements and success.[2]

Times applaud, being a new media digital platform primarily publishes its news stories on its website with majority of coverage in the English language. The news coverage is divided into factual news reporting and opinion pieces. Times Applauded organizes Atmanirbhar Bharat Conclave and Awards in 2022 ,The Trendsetter award[3] and Woman Iconza Award in 2022 and 2023.[4]
