Works[edit source]
Timmothy B. McCann’s novel, Always was written in 1996 and published in 1999. The book looks at the election night of a black senator from a large state as he via to be the first black president. The publisher described the book as follows. “It's election night and Henry Louis Davis II waits for the results that could make him the first African-American president of the United States...the impossible goal he had held since the day Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was shot.” Over his objections the publisher left the words “the impossible goal,” in the description. In 2008 the story he wrote about in fiction became a reality. It was also in this novel where he wrote about a conundrum that had yet to occur in the United States. One candidate wining the popular vote and another candidate winning the electoral college vote. It has occurred twice since the pinning of this prophetic tome.
His other words would include
Forever
Emotions
