Life and work

Good is a British researcher and author on the subject of UFOs.[9][10][11] According to the BBC, "Good is considered one of the world's leading experts on the UFO phenomenon", has "written numerous best-selling books" on the subject and was the first western UFO researcher to be interviewed on Russian television after the collapse of the Soviet Union.[12] In 1987 it was reported in The Observer that he was "Britain's leading UFO researcher".[13]

Good has acted as a consultant to several US Congressional investigations into UFOs.[12][14] He was involved in the initial publication of the purported MJ 12 documents in his 1987 book Above Top Secret.[15] Later, according to skeptic Phil Klass, Good questioned the authenticity of at least some of the documents.[16][17]

Good was born in London.[18] He has also had a career as a violinist.[19]

Criticism

Robert Sheaffer has written that Good is "long known for promoting dubious claims".[20]
