Timur Alixonov (sometimes spelled Timur Alikhanov in English) (Uzbek: Timur Alixonov, Russian: Тимур Алиханов) born 5 December 1999),is an Uzbekistani pop singer, Instagrammer, Laureate of the national award "Tahsin-2021". Timur became famous in Uzbekistan in 2002 with the videos on Instagram. Author of more than 10 songs so far. He sings in both Uzbek and Russian.
Biography[edit]
He was born on December 5, 1999 in Gulistan in the family of Gayratkhan Alikhanov. He went to school No. 256 in Tashkent. From 2012 to 2016 he studied at the Republican Vocational College of TV and Radio. Since 2018, Timur has been sharing life videos on social networks. Shortly after that, the Kun.uz site (one of the mass media of Uzbekistan) prepared a critical article about Timur and his colleagues.[1]. This article brought him more popularity.
Awards and nominations[edit]
- In 2021, he won the "Tehnikum Bloggers Award'21" competition in the category of the best Uzbek language blog[2].
- In 2021, he was named blogger of the year and won the national award "Takhsin-2021"[3]
Discography[edit]
Temur became famous among Uzbek singers with the song "Agarda Pullar". The premiere of the song took place on the state radio (avtoradio). His song was well received by both critics and listeners. In 2022, the singer presented a music album called "Boylarga mazza"[4]. There are 11 songs in the music album. He sings in genres like rap, hip-hop and pop.
