Tito Rivera (born August 5, 1980), known professionally as Tito Tahan, is an American record producer, music executive, DJ, A&R, singer, songwriter, rapper, Keynote Speaker, socialite, presenter, life coach, author, businessman and entrepreneur of Peruvian and Puerto Rican decent based in Cleveland, Ohio.[1]

He is known for producing music for TV series such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Real Husbands of Hollywood and Being Mary Jane.[2][3] He has worked with numerous artists including 50 Cent, Rick Ross and 2 Chainz.[4]

Career[edit]

Tito started his musical career professionally in 2010. In his early years Tito performed under various stage names including Ohio Super Producer, Super On The Beat, Super and IAmTheRealSuper. Tito has composed promotional records for prominent music artists including 50 Cent, Rick Ross and 2 Chainz.[5] In 2011, Tito collaborated with Freekey Zekey and released a mixtape which was titled Best of 730 dips. He teamed up with Yukmouth from hip hop duo Luniz in 2012 and released another mixtape titled Mixtape Session 4.

In 2012, Tito joined Iceman Music Group, which is distributed by Entertainment One Distribution as A&R coordinator. During his time as A&R coordinator, Tito coordinated for artists like Onyx, J.R. Writer and Vado.[6] In 2013, Tito teamed up with J- Hood who is a founding member of the rap group The Lox to release an album titled Featuring Hood.

Since 2014, Tito began to perform under his current stage name, Tito Tahan. He founded his own record label, ProducerLife in 2015.[7] Tito is also an official keynote speaker, tour showcase judge and deejay for Coast 2 Coast LIVE.[8]

In 2015, Tito composed music for various TV shows including BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood, Being Mary Jane, Zoe Ever After, Hollywood Divas, Single Ladies, Keyshia Cole: All In and MTV 2's Guy Code among other notable TV series.[2][3] Tito has also produced compositions for six-time BMI award winner Kurt Farquhar, the titles are being released in various TV shows and films.[9]

On September 25, 2016 Tito was awarded with Producer Of The Year at the Ohio Hip Hop Awards and Music Conference.[10]
