Wakhile Valentine Khumalo (born 24 September 2007), known professionally as Tk Khumalo 69[1], is a Swazi rapper, songwriter and record producer.
Tk Khumalo 69 released his first project "First Wish" (2020), and single titled "Money Everywhere", "Misunderstood", and "Drowning" (2021). He released the album and the singles independently.
2006-2019 and early life[edit]
Wakhile Valentine Khumalo was born 24 september 2007 in Mbabane clinic.[2]
2020-2021: First Wish[edit]
On 28 August 2020 Khumalo released his Debut album "First Wish".Setting the Mood was the caption of the album. When mind and music come together, the result is a masterful album such as "First Wish. Digging deep into their musical soul, Tk Khumalo 69 has produced a compilation of powerful and harmonious melodies. This album was released 28 August 2020, by DeTap.com[3][4].[5]
Money Everywhere, released 16 January 2021. Tk Khumalo 69 has created some of his most compelling and polished work to date. Listen and enjoy the superior sound quality of this Single that’s been called an instant classic. Tk Khumalo 69 gave Money Everywhere a caption "#Am Powerful Am Black.[6]
Trippy 69 dropped his freestle "Misunderstood", available on digital download and all streaming platforms on the second week of July. It is said to be an experience of the current situation in his hood. Him going through a lot, and his is still standing in one piece meant a lot.[7]
2022-Present: Building Up His Fan Base[edit]
On the 25th March 2022 Wakhile released his first single "Stop It"on Soundcloud,[8] but later released on all streaming platforms. This hit was featuring Siphosethu Mlangeni also know as "Drippy" who was also an upcoming young rapper. Tk Khumalo 69 gave the song a caption which was "Doing Tha Most" as they were clearly doing the most. As Tk Khumalo 69 was still on the rise up, this song was a great improvement and differ from the rest of his creations. Stop It became most popular in Swaziland and even started playing on radio.
