To Inflict is a short film written and directed by Liz Wiegard and produced by Bryan Kreutz and Brayden Patterson and Don Burnett.
A road rage-themed film, To Inflict is only 25 minutes long (23 plus credits). It was shot in Granite City, Illinois and St.Louis, Missouri over seven eight-hour days. It was originally supposed to be longer, but was slimmed down due to time constraints of real-life situations placed into a short film format. The film is little known, released in 2013, premiering at Granite City Cinema.[1] The Short film is also an official October 2013 Indie Fest USA film selection at the festival in Garden Grove, California.
Synopsis[edit]
Gage Bladik whose anger issues threaten to upset the relationships in his life. Themes include that of brotherly love, and the desire to change oneself for another person. Gage and his autistic brother Tommy lost their parents at a young age. Gage, now a young man who was raised to be a resilient self-Reliant child, has underlying anger and road rage issues.[2] Gage's Fiance Chelsea Sanworth works with him to curb his temper. She loves him but fears their relationship is turning into a violent one. As a result, she offers an ultimatum on their impending marriage: get help, or the wedding is off. Gage Bladik is an on edge office worker by day and a riled up Road Rager by night. The Short film is also an official October 2013 Indie Fest USA film selection at the festival in Garden Grove, California.[3]
