Togo Lakes[1] (born January 18, 1992) is an Togolese American entertainer, actor, writer and YouTube personality who produces comedy sketches, parodies, social experiments and short films. Togo garnered much of his popularity through the movement he started called TogoTuesdays which every Tuesday he posts random entertaining videos.[2]
Early life[edit]
Togo was born and raised in San Diego, California. He attended James Madison High School in San Diego, California. He started making improv comedy videos with friends while attending The Art Institute of California – San Diego.
Career[edit]
Togo has performed and participated in numerous TV & film projects, including Las Vegas PC. While he is most famous for his role as a Bewildered Customer in Mystery Diners, he has other TV show credits including a starring role in Therapists, as well as appearances in The Masterpiece. He also played a high school student in Animal Kingdom (TV series).[3]
TogoTuesdays[edit]
In 2014, Togo created his comedy YouTube channel, TogoTuesdays,where he uploads comedy skits.[4] Togo's videos have been shared by numerous celebrities such as: Akon[5] & Krept and Konan.
