Tom Beckhäuser
Tom Beckhäuser (born 22 January 1999) is a German-Czech racing driver who last competed in the 2019 Formula Regional European Championship.
Career[edit]
Formula 4[edit]
At the age of 17, he stepped into a race car for the first time.[1] And in April 2017 he made his Formula 4 debut in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship with Mücke Motorsport.[2][3] In 2017 he also competed in the Italian F4 Championship with Cram Motorsport. He scored no points in both of of the championships.
In December 2017 he also joined the Formula 4 UAE Championship where he achieved his maiden race win on the first weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit. After achieving further podium finishes throughout the season he classified third in the final standings.[2]
In 2018 he once again started in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship. This time he competed for US Racing–CHRS.[2]
Formula 3[edit]
In November 2018 Beckhäuser also contested the final round of the F3 Asian Championship for the BlackArts Racing Team.[4]
He would then sign a deal with the team to compete in the 2019 F3 Asian Championship.[5] This deal was cut short after the first two rounds and Beckhäuser would join Technorace in the Formula Regional European Championship instead.[4]
That year he also joined Franz Wöss Racing to drive an old Dallara F308 in the Drexler-Automotive Formula 3 Cup, the ESET V4 Cup and the FIA Central European Zone Formula 3 Championship.[5][6][7] Beckhäuser became the 2019 FIA Central European Zone Formula 3 champion.[8] He came third in the Drexler-Automotive Formula 3 Cup and also won the Formula 3 class in the ESET V4 Cup.[9][10][11][12]
After not racing for some years in 2023 he rejoined Franz Wöss Racing to compete in the Hungaroring round of the Drexler-Automotive Formula 3 Trophy.[3][10] He won both races in the Trophy class.
Personal life[edit]
He currently lives in Klecany in Central Bohemia.[13] In his early life, he spent four years at a boarding school in Switzerland, and in 2017, he graduated from the International School of Prague.
In 2019, he started a streaming career on Twitch, a live-streaming platform, where he has been livestreaming a variety of content.[14] Since then, he has also launched his own merchandise.[citation needed]
His father, Jens Beckhäuser, is a German entrepreneur who owned a company called Beck and today represents the clothing brand Camp David, based in Czechia.
