Tom Elliott (born May 25, 1980) is an American conservative writer and entrepreneur. He is the founder of the media production service, Grabien, and is the editor of its consumer site, Grabien News. He previously wrote for The New York Sun and New York Post[1], created and produced the Peter Schiff Show, co-created the Tom Woods Show, and served as Laura Ingraham’s long-time executive producer.

Early Life[edit]

Elliott was born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut. Elliott is the second child of Ben Elliott, director of speechwriting during the Reagan Administration.

Career[edit]

Elliott’s journalism career began at Bucknell University, where he wrote for The Bucknellian and founded the alternative newspaper, The Counterweight. The New York Times Magazine profiled his efforts in the cover story, “Hipublicans: The Rise of the Campus Right.[2]

After college, he worked as an editor of The New York Sun's editorial page, and later was a member of The New York Post's editorial board. In 2007, Laura Ingraham hired him to serve as her executive producer, where he worked until 2010. In her book “The Obama Diaries,” Ingraham described Elliott as “one of the hardest working guys I know.”[3]

After creating and producing the Peter Schiff and Tom Woods Show, he launched the news-clipping and media production service, Grabien.

Elliott has also written for National Review,[4] The Daily Caller, The Federalist,[5] and PJMedia.[6]

Notable Grabien clients include the Fox News Channel, The Rush Limbaugh Show, Mediaite, The Sean Hannity Show, Independent Journal Review (IJR), The Laura Ingraham Show, LifeZette, The Daily Caller, and National Review.
