Tomas ap Rhodri ab Owain Gwynedd

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Tomas ap Rhodri was the only known son of the Rhodri who was the son of Owain Gwynedd and ruled of half of Gwynedd from 1170 until 1195.[citation needed]

In the 17th century, Sir John Wynn, 1st Baronet of Gwydir, proved his ancestor was Tomas ap Rhodri;[1][citation needed] however, the Wynn family expired in the male line by the middle of the 18th century. A surviving line of male-line descendants of Tomas ap Rhodri are the Anwyls of Tywyn.
