Tomi Thomas[1], is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is a member of the R&B musical group "L.O.S"[2] and a current member of the alternative music group "The Forbidden".[3] He joined the West Africa art fair popularly known as "ART X Lagos"[4] in 2017 alongside the likes of Wavy The Creator & Ladipoe. He modeled for Garmspot[5] clothing alongside Leriq in 2017.

In 2018, OkayAfrica listed "Shaken"[6] among 14 best Nigerian songs to listen to in July. In 2016, Nigeria Entertainment Today[7] named him one of seven Nigerian alternative musicians you should look out for.

Career

In 2016, Pulse Nigeria[8] named him one of the top seven Nigerian SoundCloud artistes you need to know and one of 13 alternative artists you should add to your playlist in 2016[9]. He was featured on Show Dem Camp’s debut album "Palmwine Music" on the track "What You Want"[10] and he was part of the guest artists on M.I Abaga’s studio playlist Rendezvous on the track "Jungle" alongside Santi. In 2018, Pulse Nigeria ranked his debut single "Shaken"[11] fourth on its list of "10 new songs you need to listen to" in July.

In 2019, he was among the Nigerian artistes chosen from the alté music scene to mobilise voters[12] through musical concerts for the election, and artists including Lady Donli and many more.

Personal life

In 2017, Munachi Abii, the pageant winner of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2007, confirmed her relationship[13] with Tomi Thomas. In 2013, he was spotted with Munachi Abii at Peter Okoye’s wedding[14].
