TI-Electronic - according to the official name: Tommy-Invest Elektronikai Kft., which is the most important manufacturer and developer of the Hungarian electronics industry in the field of magnetic technologies. The TI-Electronic company is a partner of many Hungarian and national companies. It manufactures and develops electronic products to order in the small and medium series production category.
The slogan and philosophy of the company is "Electronic Manufacturing Based on Knowledge" The company markets its developed products under the TI-Electronic ™ brand name, typically on the European Union market.

Szécsény in Nógrád county , began its activities as an engine station in the early 1950s.
From 1970, it became an important factory unit of the company ELZETT Zár-és Lakatgyár , while in 1986, lock production was completed.
From 1986, the factory was taken over by the Budapesti Rádiótechnikai Gyár company, better known as BRG. Due to the loss of market resulting from the cessation of Soviet exports , the site was forced to close.
From the end of the 1980s, a small company, BRG -Elsa Kft., restarted production and development activities at the site, relying on its first and only partner, which was none other than Holland Philips. The strategy of the small Hungarian company of 20 people was 'knowledge-based production', so it started producing magnetic heads for writing, reading and erasing magnetic tape, which require complex precision manufacturing technology. The excellent quality of the manufactured products resulted in increasing orders from Philips and a partnership that is still decisive in the life of the Szécsény factory.
From 1992, the company continued to operate under the name Elektronikai és Mechanikai Termelő Szolgáltató és Kereskedelmi Kft. (EM), developing dynamically, and in 2000 it already had 1,700 employees and several production sites.
Since 2004, the Szécsényi factory has continued its decades-long history in the field of electronics production under the name Tommy -Invest Elektronikai Kft. (TI-ELECTRONIC ).
