Thomas Nicholas Evans (April 12, 1922 – January 31, 2008) was an American television actor known for Parent to Child About Sex (1966)[1] and Beethoven: Puppy Time (1995).[2]

Early life[edit]

Evans was born in Batesville, Arkansas on April 12, 1922, in Batesville, Arkansas. He attended Mars Hill College in 1940, but later in college years, he went to Duke and Baylor Universities and then he graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1945.[3]

Career[edit]

Evans portrayed as himself (Tommy N. Evans M.D.) in Parent to Child About Sex (1966),[1] and voiced Ted Newton in Beethoven: Puppy Time (1995).[2] As a U.S. Navy Medical Officer (physician and educator) for two years, he did an Internship at the University of Michigan where he remained for 20 years, as he became Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1960.

Death[edit]

Evans was married to Jo until his death. He died on January 31, 2008, at the age of 85 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.[4]
