Tomoyuki Miyagawa
Tomoyuki Miyagawa 宮川朋之(born 1967) is an executive officer of Nihon Eiga Broadcasting Corporation and director of the Programming/Production Division (movie producer/TV producer).[1] He is from Tokyo.
Career[edit]
In charge of programming/planning for the channels Japanese Movie Channel and Samurai Drama Channel[2] since the start of broadcast in 1998.
Miyagawa contributed to establishing the channels’ brand by proposing innovative projects that could only be possible on specialty channels, such as “Japanese Movie Theater on Sunday” and “24 Hours Non-stop.”
Temporarily transferred to the Movie Business Department’s Movie Production Team of Fuji Television from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, he produced the movie “LIAR GAME The Final Stage” among others.[3]
2010, returned to the Programming/Production Division for the two channels. In addition to programming, Miyagawa handled production of many feature films and TV period dramas.
