Tony Ciccone (June 14, 1960) is an American film editor, actor and rock drummer. Body of work currently includes; 16 films as an editor, totally a domestic box office gross of $847,257,098, 2 music videos and 11 TV shows during a career spanning over 30 years. An actor early in his career, Ciccone is best known as a picture editor. A serious motorcycle accident while editing on Mission: Impossible 2[1] kept him off the film in its final stage and put Ciccone on physical disability for almost a year.[2] This prevented him from capitalizing on his sophomore effort as co-picture editor of the highest-grossing film of 2000. His next project would be the #6 top-grossing film of 2001; Pearl Harbor (film) produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Michael Bay. He followed with another Bruckheimer produced film, Bad Company (film)[3], directed by Joel Schumacher. The film co-starred Anthony Hopkins whom Ciccone also worked with on Mission:Impossible-2. This was followed by Domino (film),[4][5] directed by Tony Scott, Illegal Tender[6] and The Ministers[7] both directed by Franc. Reyes, and Hindi-language film Hisss[8][9] directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch. Ciccone sometimes specialized as an editorial consultant; most notably breaking new ground when hired by video-game giant Activision and United Front Games to help with the visual identity and animations on what would become Sleeping Dogs (video game)[10]. Other editorial consulting includes; Oculus[11] and eight part CNN TV documentary series Crimes of The Century, produced by Ridley Scott. Enough people on Facebook have expressed an interest in Ciccone that Facebook has created an unofficial page on his behalf[12]
