Tor Naam is a 2012 Bengali movie directed by Jaya Sankar and produced by Weird Industries. The film is a remake of the Telugu movie Kotha Bangaru Lokam.[1][2]
Plot
Raju is the only child of his loving parents from Kolkata. His father is very honest and raised him with love. He studies in higher secondary at a Boarding College in West Sikkim. In midsession, a beautiful girl named Swapna gets admitted into the college. Swapna is the only child of her strict parents. Swapna finds many things in Raju which she expected. Once listening to a friendly lecturer’s lecture about the differences between love and attraction, Raju decides to propose to Swapna with a letter. Swapna accepts the proposal and both of them find out that they have fallen in love with each other. But accidentally a photo of them gets published in a newspaper and Swapna's father takes her away from college. Raju is ordered to bring his father for participating in the final exam. What happens after this in the lives of Raju and Swapna? Will they win over all obstacles?
