transform! europe is a network of left-wing political organizations and the recognized European political foundation of the Party of the European Left.[1] It comprises 39 member organizations from 23 countries.[2] The co-chairs are Marga Ferré and Cornelia Hildebrandt.[3]
The network was founded in 2001 and has served as the political foundation of the European Left since 2007. It is a European Political Foundation registered with the Authority for Political Parties and Foundations.
Its official seat is in Brussels, while its coordination office is located in Vienna.[4]
From Germany, member organizations include the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (affiliated with Die Linke), the Institute for Socio-Ecological Economic Research, and the journal Sozialismus. From Austria, the member organization is transform!at.[5]
transform! europe has collaborated with international publications and movements. In 2022, it co-hosted a conference with *Jacobin Magazine* discussing paths to socialism in Europe.[6] The organization has been featured in articles in *Jacobin* and *Le Monde*, addressing its role in shaping left-wing political discourse in Europe.[7][8]
