Transition (Malayalam: ട്രാൻസിഷൻ ) is an independent experimental drama initiated by a bunch of 20-year-old youngsters who are passionate about filmmaking. This movie is produced under the banner of two Jobless people and Luna Creations with the shoestring budget of 10,000 INR. This movie is directed, edited, cinematographed and co-produced by Krishnanunni Mangalath. The Malayalam-Tamil language film was presented by Amateur Cast in Trivandrum. Its first private screening was on 27 January 2020 at Trivandrum Nila Theater. It released on Mainstream TV on 8 October 2020.[3] Transition had its first private screening in Trivandrum with the presence of prominent people of Malayalam film industry on 27 January 2020.[4] This movie is fully captured in Monochrome and also gives an artistic and aesthetic importance to every frame and dialogue.

Plot[edit]

Transition begins from the protagonist who is a photographer that travels from Madurai to Trivandrum. On his way he comes across different people which are separated into different chapters in the movie. Towards the climax the purpose of the protagonist to why he has travelled to Trivandrum is revealed and the movie ends in a high note. Each chapter portrays a human emotion that influences the protagonist and after every chapter he comes up with his own interpretation of the situation. The movie ends in a dilemma of the subjectivity of right and wrong.
