Tredence is a data science and AI engineering company founded in 2013 by Shub Bhowmick, Shashank Dubey, and Sumit Mehra.[1][2][3] [4]The company is headquartered in San Jose, California, with offices in Foster City, Chicago, Toronto, London, and Bangalore.[5]

History[edit]

Tredence was established in 2013.[6] The company started its operations in San Jose, California, and soon opened its first overseas delivery center in Bangalore, India. Within a few years, Tredence expanded its delivery centers in Foster City, San Jose, Chicago, Bentonville, Toronto, London.[7][8]

In 2018 Tredence won the Bootstrap Champ Award from the Economic Times, and two years later, the CEO Shub Bhowmick was listed in the top ten most influential analytics leaders in India.[9] In the same year, the company acquired $30 million in a Series A funding round.[10] In 2020, Tredence began its operations in the healthcare analytics services market.[11]

In 2021, Tredence launched Tredence Studio, a platform for helping enterprises understand value identification and value realization.[12] In the same year, it also launched its community version of the MLOps platform – MLWorks. As of 2021, Tredence has over 1,000 employees.[13] In September, Tredence announced an partnership with Databricks to co-develop a retail OSA accelerator.[14]

In October 2021, Tredence achieved Elite partnership status, the highest level of partnership, in the Snowflake Partner Network.[15] In the same month, it also partnered with Tredence partners with IIT-Madras to accelerate data science.[16]
