Trescore Balneario school attack It was an attempted mass murder attack that occurred in Trescore Balneario, Italy, where a G.M. stabbed a teacher before escaping and being arrested. It happened on 25 March 2026.
Background
Due to legal privacy concerns because he is a minor, it is known that his initials are G.M. He planned to commit an attack against his school through Telegram, where he was in contact with a user identified as Euno. They convinced him to attack his school, taking inspiration from the Columbine High School massacre, Jokela school shooting, Kerch Polytechnic College massacre, Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, and Christchurch mosque shootings. He began planning the attack and later left a manifesto on Telegram expressing his regret for the school attack and revealing his objectives, such as killing his teacher. He left his manifesto on Telegram.
Incident
The perpetrator left his manifesto on Telegram, went to school and put on his uniform, a vest, and a shirt with the word Vendetta, and used his cell phone to broadcast his attack. When he arrived at school, he entered and went up to the hallway. At 7:45 AM, he stabbed Chiara Mocchi, his French victim, who was wounded until a 13-year-old student tried to confront the attacker, who then escaped. Emergency services arrived and he was later arrested.
Investigation
After his arrest, they investigated and found he was a member of the True Crime Community and discovered his manifesto, which was called The Final Solution.
Aftermath
His victim recovered in the hospital, despite the injuries; all of Italy was terrified because it was the first time a minor had attacked his school, and it opened a debate about penalizing attacks made by minors.
San Vito Lo Capo school stabbing
Following that, months later and a week after the 2026 Islamic Center of San Diego shooting, a 12-year-old boy attempted to stab his teacher but failed. After that, it is known that the 12-year-old boy wrote the G.M.'s name on his helmet for his attack
