Trident Academy of Technology (TAT) is an engineering and management institute located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It was established in 2005 and operates under the Trident Group of Institutions. The college offers diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs in engineering, computer applications, and management studies.
History
Trident Academy of Technology was founded in 2005 with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It functions under the Trident Group of Institutions, which also includes the Trident Academy of Creative Technology and Trident Academy of Business Studies.[1]
Accreditation and Affiliations
The institution is approved by AICTE and affiliated with the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela.[2] TAT has received accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and selected undergraduate programs are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).[3]
Academic Programs
The college offers diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, and Mechanical Engineering. It also offers programs in Management and Computer Applications.[4][not in citation given]
Research and Development
TAT is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).[5] Its departments participate in funded projects under schemes of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and other government agencies. Campus
The campus is located near the Infocity area in Chandaka Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar. The location provides proximity to technology firms and startup incubation centers established by the Government of Odisha.[7][not in citation given]
