Trinity College of Hotel management (TCHM) is an educational institution of hotel and hospitality management.[1], located in Tarnaka, Hyderbad - the capital city of the state Telangana. The College is affiliated to Osmania University[2].
History[edit]
Eighteen years ago CBM educational society established an institution at tilaknagar x roads, later this society extended it's roots and established Pioneer Institute of Hotel Management - which a few years later extended further more to establish yet another institution,now known as Trinity College of Hotel Management[3].
Initially, Trinity College of Hotel Management was established only to teach hospitality Management, it was only a year later the college emerged to a college of hotel management with the affiliation of Osmania University in the year of 2014[4].
Campus[edit]
Trinity College of Hotel Management is located at Tarnaka next to Innova Children's Heart Hospital in Hyderabad city at Telagana state[5]. It is 1.49 kms from the Osmania University and it's 3.16 kms from Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The campus can be easily found as it is in an accessible location from the main road of Tarnaka - Which is at a walk-able distance from Tarnaka Metro Railway Station Hyderabad (Hyderabad Metro)
Academics[edit]
Trinity College of Hotel Management offers degree, diploma and PG diploma courses; the degree course is BHMCT (Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology) with an eligibility criterion of intermediate (10+2), Vocational Intermediate, NIOS, TOSS, APOSS, and SBTET Diploma[6].
Trinity college of hotel management has a limited intake of admissions, it only enrolls 50 students per year.
Achievements[edit]
- Director of Trinity College of Hotel Management Chef Nitin as a Celebrity Guest Chef for Christmas season of TRENDY TREATS in ETV Abhiruchi.
- Final year students of Trinity College of Hotel Management (BHMCT) have also demonstrated a few recipes with Celebrity Chef Raju[7] in ETV Abhiruchi
- Students have received Best Trainee Award for best performance in industrial training from Marriott Executive Apartments
- Received a 1st price for Floral Flourish by Mr.P.Srikanth of Trinity College of Hotel Management from first year of BHMCT in the prestigious National wide WGSHA[8] Quest 2018 held at WGSHA, Manipal.
- In Catefete by army institute of hotel management in Bengaluru students were the 1st runner-up in the competition
- Winner of the quiz competition conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies
- Winner in all categories in the competitions conducted by Association of Catering Professionals[9] in Hyderabad
- A new food outlet –CREPSTER – is being opened at GVK ONE, Banjara Hills, and Hyderabad. Serving thin French pancakes (Crepes) and waffles with various innovative flavors and combinations in both sweet and savory categories. The menu standard recipes, food costing food trials are done by faculty and students. They are the official consultant for the food outlet[10].
Events[edit]
- Conducted an event of cold buffet with valentine theme was a tribute to CHEF PAUL BOCUSE. Cold buffet is the part of the third year curriculum. The executive chef of Sheraton hotel and the corporate chef of BBQ nation were the chief guests, for the event The chocolate photo of Chef Paul Bocuse was the centre of attraction. Apart from that there was a display of international breads like lavash, focaccia, brioche etc and cold cuts like Ballotine, Galantine, Terrine, pate. Desserts like croquembouche, nougatine, lemon meringue pie. Trinity College of Hotel Management decided to conduct this event every year and remember the greatest chef that ever lived.
- HYDERBAD CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL – For the very first time TRINITY and Pioneer college of hotel management organized this food festival at a large scale. Many students show-cased their skills at this food festival. Students set up their own stalls with delicacies like roast chicken, donut, fried chicken, sea food. This will be a recurring event[11]
- Apart from these events, there are co-cultural activities running throughout the year like the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, conducting anti ragging workshops, Celebrating the Iftar Party, and other regional celebrations like Diwali, Bonalu, Christmas, and Dussera etc to prepare students for a global work atmosphere.

- In the 2018 Many students from this college was recruited in large scale star hotels like Marriott Hyderabad, Hyatt, The Leela, Vivanta by Taj, Sheraton,The Raintree Hotels, Avasa Hotel
- In 2017 Students were recruited in Hotels like Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, Westin, Marriott, Hyatt, Taj, ITC hotels and The Park hotels.
- There were international placements in Gaylord Hotels, Terranea Resort, Wild horse Restaurant in USA[12]
