Tropang Bulilit is a 1981 Filipino comedy-drama film directed by J. Erastheo Navoa and written by Jose N. Carreon. The film stars Niño Muhlach, Sheryl Cruz, Andrea Bautista, Janice de Belen, and Lea Salonga.[1] Produced by D'Wonder Films, Tropang Bulilit was released on December 25, 1981.[2]

In 1982, three of the film's stars, Andrea Bautista, Janice de Belen, and Lea Salonga, were nominated for Best Child Actress at the 30th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards.[3]

Plot[edit]

Ric Rodrigo, a father of five children, dies, leaving his children orphaned. The children are placed in new homes and later escape to live together in Manila. As the children go from one misadventure to another, their uncle Lloyd Samartino decides to take care of them, giving the happiest times of their lives.
