True Torah Jews Against Zionism (also referred to as Natruna) is a New York-based group of Orthodox Jews who believe that the Jewish state contradicts Jewish law.[1][2]
According to Stephen Lendman of Tikkun.org, "They believe that "traditional" Jews don't support Zionism, an ideology they call 'contrary to Jewish law and beliefs and the teachings of the Holy Torah'."[3]
Rabbi Leopold Klein, a spokesman for True Torah Jews, said, "All over the world, Jews who are true to the Torah are outraged by this ongoing Zionist ploy, in which the Zionists attempt to create the impression that the holy Torah is behind their hard-line, nationalistic goals".[4]
The campaign disagreed with Ariel Sharon's assertion that "The best solution to anti-Semitism is immigration to Israel".[5]
The group arranged a 2015 campaign aimed at disassociating Hassidic Jews from religious Zionist settlers in the West Bank.[6]
