Yeshivas Nachlas Zvi of Toronto
Yeshivas Nachlas Zvi is Jewish religious high school which focuses mainly on talmud studies. It was founded in 1990 by Rabbi Dovid Noach Kaplan, the son of Rav Boruch and Rebbetzin Vichna Kaplan[1]. He also served as its Rosh Yeshiva[2]. After Rabbi Kaplan's passing on Purim of 2009[3], his son, Rabbi Yitzchok Tzvi Kaplan, succeeded him as Rosh Yeshiva and currently holds the position[4]. The yeshiva is located on 475 Lawrence Ave. W. in Toronto, which was formerly occupied by K'Hal Toras Chaim[citation needed], Rabbi Avrohom Aharon Price's shul. The yeshiva has classes from Grades 8 to 12[4]. The Yeshiva holds an annual Chinese Auction to help raise funds[5]. The grade twelve maggid shiur, Rav Yosef Lipscutz, is a son-in-law of RavElya Svei.[6]
