Trustbox is an online backup service for consumers and corporations that was founded in 2014 in Denmark.[2] Trustbox services include file transfer, cloud storage, file hosting service, file synchronization, personal cloud, and client software that allow the user to save and synchronize files between devices, for the purpose of IT security.[3][4]
Ransomware and malicious cyber attacks increased in 2016, expecting to further become more widespread in 2017. IT experts recommend Trustbox as a reliable measure to secure online data.[5][6][not in citation given]
Trustbox creates a special folder on the user's computer that has automatic synchronization of contents to Trustbox’s encrypted servers as well as to other devices that are linked with the Trustbox account.

    Features and Functionality[edit]

Trustbox automatic backup system uses NAS, SQL and Exchange server backups. Users have access to an admin control panel where they can control their online file sharing settings and create multiple users. Placing customer satisfaction highly, TrustBox offers monitoring reports and free phone support.
