Daniel O. Oke (born October 24, 1998), better known as Tugue Zombie, is a Nigerian content creator and television host based in the Philippines.[1]He is currently one of the co-hosts for the show "E.A.T" in the segment, Sugod Bahay, Mga Kapatid! with Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola.[2]

Personal Life

Daniel Oke is from Lagos, Nigeria. In 2015, he went to the Philippines to study college. He studied Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Paul University Philippines located in Tuguegarao City, Cabanatuan.[3]

He started his career as a content creator using the name Tugue Zombie. Currently, he has gained 1.1 million followers and 1.8 million followers on TikTok and Facebook respectively. Tugue is a shortcut for Tuguegarao where he lived, studied and spent most of his 8 years in the Philippines.[4][5]

He graduated on July 18, 2022 and earned his degree in Nursing.[6]

Career

Prior to becoming part of the Dabarkads, Zombie appeared virtually on the February 18, 2022 episode of Bawal Judgmental, Eat Bulaga's segment where he joined other fellow Foreignoy content creators from different parts of the country.

On July 13, 2023, Zombie was invited again to become part of E.A.T's spiritual successor to Bawal Judgmental, Babala! 'Wag Kayong Ganuuun. His fun banter with Allan K. and Miles Ocampo easily made him a crowd favorite, making his appearance trend on social media.[2]

After his trending appearance on the segment, he was reinvited again the following day, July 14, 2023, to be a co-host of Sugod Bahay, Mga Kapatid!, where he joined fellow hosts Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, and MJ Lastimosa in visiting barangays across the country.[2]

Recently, he became a regular host of E.A.T in their celebration of the 44th Anniversary of Eat Bulaga! on July 29, 2023 titled "National Dabarkads Day" with original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.[7]
