Tulasi Parmar
Tulasi Parmar (born 28 September 2001)[1] is a British fashion designer. She is the creative director of eponymous label TULASI launched 2024.

Early Life
Background
Tulasi Parmar was born in England to British mother and Kenyan-Gujarati father. Her father, Vijay, is an entrepreneur, owning an independent clothing store, with her mother, Lydia, retailing Roberto Cavalli, Hermès and Celine. Her father arrived in England, when he was eight, after Jomo Kenyatta exiled the Indian community from Kenya. She was raised in Edgbaston, Birmingham. At the age of eight she began customising the clothes in her parent's retail store.[2]In 2018, at sixteen, she was awarded Young Fashion Designer of the UK, encouraging her to pursue fashion design.[3]
Studies
Parmar studied at Ravensbourne University London, graduating in 2024. She graduated showcasing her final collection "Father's Trade." British Vogue would later describe as "sleek" acknowledging her use of sustainable materials.[4] In 2023, she joined Robert Wun as an assistant for their first haute-couture collection in Paris.[citation needed]
Career
TULASI, 2024-present
In 2024, TULASI launched a brand under her own name.[5] Following her graduate collection, the brand won $10000 at Metaverse Fashion Week, that was described as "a digital work of art weaving themes of memory, lineage, and resistance into a bold visual statement."[6]
In September 2025, the brand launched an award-winning, debut collection exclusively available on tulasiofficial.com.[7]
In February 2026, the designer was awarded £5000 from The King's Trust to launch a boutique on the King's Road, Chelsea. In the same year, she attended HRH King Charles' III 50th Anniversary Private Garden Party, as an Ambassador of The King's Trust.[citation needed]
Parmar's designs have been worn by Anne-Marie, Isabel La Rosa, Sophia Hadjipanteli, Blaq Bones, AQT and Deja Vu.
