Product and Evolution[edit]

The main prodcut of the company is the Twistlock Cybersecurity Platform, which provides cyber protection for cloud services like vulnerability management, compliance management, runtime protection, firewalling and incident forensics. The platform's uses whitelists in order to enforce known good behavior in running applications, rather than the more common use of blacklisting of all known risks and threats.[9]

In July 2017, Twistlock added automatically configured and deployed application firewalling to the Twistlock Cybersecurity Platform.[10]

In September 2017, Twistlock added automatically configured and deployed layer 3 firewalling, and it learned the connectivity pattern automatically, unlike traditional firewall technologies where the routes need to be configured manually.[11]

in 2018, Twitslock committed to support Red Hat’s Kubernetes Operators and help the company to provide security to their products on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, [12] and claim that the 2.3 update can make its product the first to handle container and serverless security needs from a single platform.[13]

Technology[edit]

The company's technology includes CI integration, API support, and a security framework, enabling developers and security operations teams to keep container-based applications safe[14] while scanning images and registries to detect vulnerabilities in the code, as well as configuration errors and providing an automatic, real-time active threat protection and policy enforcement for containerized applications.

Company and product highlights[edit]

The Company was included in Momentum partner’s 2016 Cybersecurity watch list[15] and DarkReading’s Top 20 CyberSecurity firms to watch for 2016.[16] In addition, the company was selected by CRN as one of the Top 10 Coolest Startups of 2015[17] and a finalist by SC Magazine for Best Emerging Technology Award.[18]

In 2016 InVision selected Twistlock to Secure Growing Enterprise Business.[19]
