Tyler Galen Wood (born October 27, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter, composer and reality TV personality. Born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Tyler Wood gained a bigger recognition after participating in national television show Moonshiners (TV series).[1]

Early life[edit]

Tyler grew up hunting, fishing, working on the family farm, and learning about his family’s heritage and tradition in the world of backwoods moonshine. After high school, Tyler took up the trade of machine and tool tech. Shortly after Tyler mobilized to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom during 2007-2008 as a DOD contractor. Upon returning home Tyler Wood became a head engineer on a natural gas pipeline in Dallas TX.

Music[edit]

Tyler Wood recorded his first album Outlaw Soul in 2014 which became popular globally from his hit song “Still Ridin’ Shotgun”. Since then Tyler Wood has released two more albums ("Road To Redemption" and "Who I Am") that are gaining recognition across the nation. Tyler Wood has published music videos on YouTube with over 26 million views and growing.

Moonshiners[edit]

Tyler’s moonshine heritage and connections landed him in the spotlight of the national television show Moonshiners (TV series) on the Discovery Channel. Tyler Wood participated in seasons 3-5.[2]
