Giir Thiik Bol is a South Sudanese rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer and a record producer [1] known by his stage name, (Tylerbrizyy born on 14 May 2003 in Juba, South Sudan).[2] [3]According to his background, Tyler started singing at age of twelve back in 2015, he was inspired by his cousin and decided to pursue music as a career. On 14 February 2020, Tylerbrizyy signed a record deal with Snapii Gang Records. He rose to prominence with the song "Soul[4]" where he got a lot of recognition on his social media platforms. He also released a new single "I Will Manage" in 2021 before dropping his debut album "BRIZYY" , featuring a South African rapper-singer, Swiss Jr.[5] He is also a member of the Talented Times Records and Snapii Gang Records which license and distribute his music.[6] [7]
Early life[edit]
Giir Thiik Bol was born in Gogrial State, Bahr el Ghazal on 14 May, 2003. He was named after his great-grandfather called Giirdit. His parents divorced when he was eleven, and he settled at his uncle's house with his mother and sisters. Three years later, his parents got back together and decided to settle as one family. In 2015, he was introduced to making music by his cousin who used to sing. From right there, Tyler started having love for making music here and there with his cousin and step-brother. Tyler never had studio equipment for making music, all he had was a pair of earphones and his step-brother's laptop which had a multitrack recording software called (Mix pad) produced and developed by NCH Software for recording and mastering music.[8]

Tylerbrizyy has been ranked #3 as the best Male Hip Hop artist on ReverbNation in Uganda.[9] His hit song "Soul" was #6 on Ugandan iTunes Top 100 Songs. With all the songs and albums he has released so far, he hasn't received any awards yet but he got a lot of the virtual awards ones. Tyler released more than (12) studio songs, 1 debut album and (4) studio Eps With his South African Friend and his fellow Sudanese rapper M-Korn Chopper. These are the songs and albums for Tylerbrizyy featuring different artist. In 2020, Tylerbrizyy stated on his Instagram that he is working on his upcoming second studio album named (African Boy) featuring unknown artists.
