TypeTogether is an award-winning.[1][2][3][4][5][6] independent type foundry[7], which creates typefaces for digital and print use in several world scripts, including Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai and Devanagari[8]. It was founded by Veronika Burian and José Scaglione in 2006[7]. TypeTogether’s multicultural team is distributed around the world, and along with their own designs, the foundry also publishes fonts by other type designers, notably Gerard Unger[9] and Adi Stern.

The firm have created custom work for branding, editorial and corporate use, for Argentina’s largest newspaper, Clarín[10][11]; Google’s e-book distribution service Google Play Books[12][13]; and the Ötztal valley in the Austrian Alps[14]; among others. Noteworthy typefaces by TypeTogether include Adelle, Bree[9], Capitolium[15], Athelas[16] and Literata[17]. Their retail designs have been used by international clientele, like Apple Inc. in their Apple Books (previously iBooks) app[18][19]; Austrian Airlines[20]; note-taking and task management app, Evernote[21]; and popular monthly Italian science magazine, Focus magazine[22]
