UTTP (short for UTube Troll Police or YouTube Troll Police) is an organization, or collective, of online trolls that has been active since 12 February, 2011. Originally founded by a British national named Thomas Parkinson, it is mostly active on YouTube and Discord, as well as formerly on the now-defunct Google+. Although originally not having any ideological motivation, it later gained a reputation for its activities in opposition to fandom culture, and its members frequently express racist, or far-right views.
The UTTP's activities include accusing its victims of being trolls themselves and claiming they will be arrested on those grounds. The group has been noted as becoming progressively more extreme in tactics and views over time. In recent years, it has been accused of facilitating sexual abuse or distribution of child pornography. It has been alleged to be affiliated with the online extremist sexual exploitation network 764.
History
The UTTP started to gain popularity in the GoAnimate community by around the late 2010s and early 2020s.
In 2024, users identifying as UTTP members began to harass YouTube channel comment sections, by leaving comments that primarily says: "WHO ASKED + MY CONTENT IS BETTER THAN [YouTube channel name], THE UTTP IS WAY BETTER THAN [YouTube channel name]."
Other comments are about normalizing pedophilia and having posted a video better than all videos which is usually a video of a woman crying in response to her dog being put down.
Many Discord users who identify as UTTP members reportedly possess child pornography such as the film by Australian convicted child sex offender and convicted murderer Peter Scully, entitled Daisy's Destruction. They have also been seen posting said content, as well as the aforementioned video of the crying woman, on channels on YouTube featuring MrBeast profile pictures with the MAP flag (a euphemism for pedophile) in the background.
