Uday Subba (Nepali: उदय सुब्बा), or Uday Kumar Ingnam is a Nepalese Film director, producer, actor and voice actor. Known for directing movie kranti (1999).[citation needed] He has received awards nationally and internationally, the Global Nepal Film Awards - 2017 held in Colorado, United States his most recent award.[citation needed]
Early Life[edit]
Subba was born in the year 1972 AD, Taplejung,Nepal . He finished his primary education in Narayani Primary School in Taplejung and finished his high school in Sanischare He was very influential among his peers. On his preteen years he and many other local youths of Jhapa formed an all art club named "Pathivara Club". This club used to perform different entertaining events like dramas and musicals.
Early Career[edit]
Uday subba landed a career in the film industry as chief assistant director in the movie The Commando (1997 film)|The Commando (1997)[1]. He debuted as Director in the movie Timrai Lagi (1998). His movie Kranti (1999) was a box office hit. After this, he was constantly on the eyes of the public and critic. [2]

He is married to singer Kamala Bantawa Rai and has two daughters Sumnima Ingnam and Semima Ingnam.
