Umbrel is a software to run a bitcoin full node, with a focus on UX design. It is currently still in beta. To run Umbrel, it is recommended to use Umbrel OS, an operating system based on the 64-bit version of the Raspberry Pi OS, on a Raspberry Pi 4 with at least 2GB of RAM.[1]
Architecture
Umbrel uses Docker containers for each part of Umbrel. The Umbrel Dashboard can access Umbrel APIs using nginx, and these APIs are provided by Umbrel Manager and Umbrel Middleware, which are both connected to bitcoind and lnd.[2]
