Umer Darr[1] is a Pakistani drama, theatre and film actor who predominately works in Urdu entertainment industry. His career spanning of 13 years. Umer Darr[2] received much appreciation from the audience who belongs to different walks of life. Not only he is an actor but he is also a practicing psychologist who has worked in many reputed multinational companies and currently working as Student Counselor in Government College University Lahore.
His most famous recent projects as an actor includes: Kabli Pulao (2023) , Jo Bichar Gaye ( 2022).

Umer Darr was born on 14 April,1990 in Lahore, Pakistan to a Punjabi Muslim Family. Umer did Bachelors in Psychology and MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Government College University, Lahore.

Career[edit]
Early Career:
Talking about his early career life, Umer Darr started his TV acting career back in 2010 with minor roles. He embarked to new avenues of acting by indulging his self into theatre acting and performing arts during his bachelor studies from one of the oldest seat of learning in the sub-continent known as GCU Dramatics Club[3] formerly, GCDC[3]. His work as lead actor includes Shah e Alam, Mukhtarnama ( written by Bano Qudsia ) and most popular one was Tiger of Maysore in which he played Tipu Sultan remarkably. He proved his metal in acting throughout his stay at GCDC even critic circle admired & recognized him as a method actor.
