Umer Darr[1] is a Pakistani drama, theatre and film actor who predominately works in Urdu entertainment industry. His career spans 13 years. Umer Darr[2] has received much appreciation from the audience from different walks of life. Not only is he an actor, but he is also a practicing psychologist who has worked in many reputed multinational companies and currently works as a Student Counselor at Government College University Lahore.
His most famous recent projects as an actor include: Kabli Pulao (2023), Jo Bichar Gaye (2022).
Early life
Umer Darr was born on 14 April 1990 in Lahore, Pakistan to a Punjabi Muslim family. Umer earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and an MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Government College University, Lahore.

Umer Darr is married to Ayesha Siddiqa.
Career
Early Career:
Talking about his early career, Umer Darr started his TV acting career back in 2010 with minor roles. He ventured into new avenues of acting by immersing himself in theatre acting and performing arts during his bachelor studies at one of the oldest seats of learning in the sub-continent, known as GCU Dramatics Club[3] formerly, GCDC[3]. His work as a lead actor includes Shah e Alam, Mukhtarnama (written by Bano Qudsia), and his most popular role was Tiger of Mysore, in which he played Tipu Sultan remarkably. He proved his mettle in acting throughout his time at GCDC, and the critics admired and recognized him as a method actor.
