Umut Camkiran is a Turkish Heavyweight Boxer, he is currently undefeated. He has won titles like WBC Mediterranean and WBC CISBB[2][3] [4] He is under the Ahmet Öner promotion, his trainer is Mahir Oral, a former boxer.
Umut Camkiran replaced Tony Yoka as Co-Challenger For EBU Title.[5][6] He is often referred to as "Turkish Mike Tyson" due to his fighting style, which resembled that of the legendary American boxer Mike Tyson.
Camkiran is known for his aggressive and relentless approach in the ring, often using powerful punches and seeking to overpower his opponents, much like Tyson did during his prime.

Umut Camkiran, "Turkish Mike Tyson," made his professional boxing debut on September 27, 2013, defeating Edgars Kalnars via first-round technical knockout (TKO) at the Atatürk Spor Salonu in Tekirdağ, Turkey.[12]
This swift victory set the tone for his career, as he continued to win his early bouts by knockout, often ending matches in the opening rounds. [13] [14] [15]
In February 21, 2025, Umut Camkiran secured a victory over Azerbaijani contender Taryel Jafarov in Istanbul, Turkey. The bout, held at the Mustafa Oncel Spor Complex, was contested for the vacant WBC Asia Heavyweight Title.[16]
Camkiran won by technical knockout in the second round at 1:36, after dominating the fight.[17] [18]
