UnHerd[3][4] is a British news website founded on 21 July 2017[5] by Tim Montgomerie, who left the site in 2018.[6][7] The website's mission is "to push back against the herd mentality with new and bold thinking, and to provide a platform for otherwise unheard ideas, people and places.".[8][9] The magazine had 15 full-time journalists when it launched.[10]

The site's columnists include Giles Fraser, Ed West, and Douglas Murray.

The website exists without a paywall, with its operating budget deriving from an endowment by former Liberal Democrat donor, Brexit-supporting businessman Sir Paul Marshall.[5]
