The Union of People's power and Labor (SNT; Russian: Союз народовластия и труда; СНТ; Soyuz narodovlastiya i truda, SNT) was a social and political movement created in 1998 with the active participation of General Andrei Nikolaev, heading this movement and becoming its chairman.
In August 1998, the movement Union of People's power and Labor entered the People's Patriotic Union of Russia.
On October 2, 1999, SNT became one of the co-founders of the electoral coalition of center-left socialist forces called "Bloc of General Andrei Nikolaev and Academician Svyatoslav Fedorov", which also included: Socialist Party of Workers (SPT), Party of Workers' Self-Government (PST, chairman Academician Svyatoslav Fyodorov) , officially registered parties and movements "Union of Realists", "Hope of Russia", "Engineering Progress of Russia", a wing of the "Derzhava" movement. In addition, the bloc was co-founded by 3 organizations that did not have political registration at the time of its creation: the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Russia, the All-Russian Trade Union of Communications Workers of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Trade Union of Textile and Light Industry Workers. In the elections, the federal list of candidates from the bloc was presented in the following composition: General A.I. Nikolaev (SNT), Academician S. N. Fyodorov (PST) and T.Malyutina (Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Russia).
The last date of re-registration of the organization's charter by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation is 12/07/98 (reg. №3569).
