Unitek EMT is a private for-profit institution in the United States. It is one of several educational entities under the ownership of Unitek Learning. The school maintains a campus in Tempe, Arizona, and provides emergency medicine certification and training courses to individuals, businesses, and government agencies.[1]
History
Unitek EMT was founded in 2004 as part of the Unitek Learning Education Group Corp.[1] The institution offers Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and emergency medical services (EMS) training to hundreds of professionals annually.[2]
Programs
The institution is best known for its immersive 14-day EMT Boot Camp, a 140-hour course combining classroom instruction, clinical simulations, and hands-on training. Graduates receive certificates in Emergency Medical Technician and Stop the Bleed, and are eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam, a requirement for EMT certification in many states, including Arizona and California.[3]
Unitek EMT also offers:
- EMT Refresher Course – a hybrid of online learning and a two-day in-person workshop fulfilling Arizona and NREMT recertification requirements.[4]
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Course – focused on CPR and cardiovascular life support skills.[5]

Partnerships
In 2014, Unitek EMT organized "Operation Urban Rescue," a large-scale multi-agency simulation involving disaster response scenarios with local, military, and civilian participants.[7]
