The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), School of Engineering and Technology, CSJM University, Kanpur, India, founded in 1996 (earlier known as Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kanpur), is an engineering and technology institute located in Kanpur, India.
UIET is an autonomous institute of the Kanpur University (officially known as CSJM University), with its premises within the university campus. It offers studies in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in six branches (i.e. Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Material Science & Metallurgical Engineering) and other programs like MCA, BCA, M.Sc. in Electronics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Mathematics and Advanced PG Diploma in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Bachelor of Vocational Education (B.Voc.), Advanced Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Course in Fashion Technology and Interior Design. It is a self-financed institute. A team of dynamic and dedicated faculty members work to nurture the students and raise the level of institute day by day passionately. Over the years modern infrastructure has been developed and alumni of this institute can be found working all over the world in various academic institutions and industries.[1]
