The University of Computer Studies(Taunggyi) (Burmese: ကွန်ပျူတာတက္ကသိုလ် (တောင်ကြီး)) is a public university in Taunggyi, Southern Shan State, Myanmar. The university, administered by the Ministry of Education, offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Computer science, Computer Technology and Information Science. The language of instruction at UCS(Taunggyi) is English.
History
The University of Computer Studies (Taunggyi) is situated in the Southern Shan State, Myanmar. The Government Computer College (Taunggyi) was established on 15 August 2000. University of Computer Studies (Taunggyi) was upgraded on 20 January 2007.
Programs
The university offers a five-year bachelor's degree program (Bachelor of Computer Science (B.C.Sc.) and Bachelor of Computer Technology (B.C.Tech.), a two-year graduate diploma program (Diploma in Computer Science (D.C.Sc.) and two-year master's degree programs: Master of Computer Science and Master of Computer Technology.
